On 25th July, we officially announced the collaboration between Singapore Medtech Consortium (Racer Technology) and National Health Service (NHS). The distinguished Guest of Honour Kara Owen, British High Commissioner to grace & commemorate the event, to bring together two nations and unlock new possibilities of innovation. This is another testament to our strong UK-Singapore ties.

In the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare, it is important to consistently push boundaries and drive development of cutting-edge medical technologies. With Racer leading the Singapore Medtech Consortium, and constantly building a strong eco-system for the MedTech industry, we will open more doors of opportunities for our valued partners.
The MedTech Actuator was founded in 2018 by serial MedTech entrepreneurs and health policy experts who understood that MedTech, HealthTech and BioTech ventures require a bespoke acceleration model. They connect the region’s broad ecosystem to empower founders to build the next wave of global MedTech, HealthTech and BioTech success stories.
A research institute under A*STAR which aims to collaborate with companies to enhance the competitiveness of Singapore’s manufacturing industry. SMC acts as the bridge, being their investor and CDMO partner for their MedTech projects. Currently, we are working with them on three projects, all still under development.
With a network of hospitals, the convergence of clinical care education and research enables innovation and accessible care to patients. Tapping on their network of hospitals, Racer and SMC have partnered with Tan Tock Seng Hospital, KK Hospital, National Health Group and Changi Hospital on numerous projects over the years
A co-working space and incubator for BioMedTech startups. Strategically located in close proximity to healthcare clinicians and researchers, it will forge stronger links towards innovation and drive development for clinical trials and commercialisation. Working at co11ab also means given access to life science lab, office space, engineering maker-space, core facilities and equipment. With its own network of partners, investors and mentors, startups can tap on necessary resources to R&D, funding opportunities, and networking events.
Singapore MedTech Consortium, which is spearheaded by Racer, provided co11ab with equipments and expertise that a start-up may not have in-house to accelerate product development. We also provide mentorship for them.

The founders of Pathway, Dave, Jonas and Arthur, each graduated with mechanical engineering degrees from SDSU, although at different times. The trio has worked for and consulted with a variety startups and larger medical device companies throughout San Diego and worldwide—beginning in manufacturing and automation roles before moving toward broader product development responsibilities. Each team member holds multiple patents for products developed independently and for clients.
Over the years, the three routinely crossed paths on projects, making it logical to team up and leverage complementary strengths and weaknesses as well as varied backgrounds and life experiences that bring unique perspective when tackling challenging problems. As Pathway LLC, an engineering and design consulting firm, the team works to help others get their dreams off the ground, defining success as the development of products that make a positive impact in the world while improving the lives of those who use them.
